Africa has wallowed in bloodshed in the name of political war.
We have stood and watched our mothers in tears,
A race of tears to the West formed River Niger
A race of tears to the East formed River Juba
I saw my lover rolled, blood was the rose
Our children and women are always the victims.
Libya and Cote d’Ivore are modern case studies of political “jagbajantis” in Africa.
Mawu ! Eledumare ! Amadioha ! Where is Thou eyes ?
After more than 20years of your rule, Jammeh,
Gambia has continued to dance with the shadow of poverty,
swim with pains and converse with agony.
Tears everywhere, gunshot is the new beat
That blood and tears are mine.
*JAMMEH* what else do you have to offer.
Democracy bestows you the freedom to challenge the outcome.
Peacefully in the court of law.
Emulate your brother Mahama (Ghana)
Be called a hero like Jonathan (Nigeria)
“Jammeh ! Let my people go !” Cries Mother Africa
Let Gambia sing a new and sweet melodious song
Let Gambians dance,
Let Gambia flag fly high.
Let Africa know peace.
All West African leaders must come together as quickly as possible to talk sense into the head of this brutal, power hunger dictator that we (Africans) cannot continue to stand and watch our mothers in tears, children, women and promising youths dying everyday in the cause for power. Libya and Cote d’Ivore are modern case studies of political atrocities in Africa. The White should not be given the opportunity to cause destruction in Africa anymore. AFRICA MUST UNITE.
